What is BFC file?
Briefcase files are typically used to store personal data in a password-protected folder on the local computer. They are also often used for temporary storage of documents and information, including profiles, checklists, and other corporate materials. Briefcase files can be named anything, but each briefcase file must have an extension associated with it. In Windows 7 and later, the .bfc file extension is used to represent these types of folders. Windows uses this extension to identify that the file is a briefcase file and not something else.

Tools that will help you view BFC files
Sometimes you need to quickly preview the contents of a file with the BFC extension. In such a situation, many people decide to find a tool that, according to its creators, can display the contents of the BFC file and many other types of files (All in One Viewer).
Of course, there are such tools. However, it should be remembered that they may display the data contained in the BFC file differently than the application dedicated to handling the BFC file extension. Below you will find a list of software programs that will help you with this. These software programs will help you view the content of the BFC file, minimizing possible errors that may arise with other tools.
