What is DCK file?
The DCK file extension is a very common file extension used in the Resolume software. This has one of the most simple descriptions out of all the other extensions that are given. The data contained within this file is a description of how the video is going to be controlled. For example, if you were using multiple clips on your timeline and wanted them to interact with each other in real time, you would need one clip for each track. One of these files would be for the audio (audio1) and another would be for video (video). If a user wanted to change from audio1 to video, they would just have to make sure there was an audio2 file in their project folder.

Tools that will help you view DCK files
Sometimes you need to quickly preview the contents of a file with the DCK extension. In such a situation, many people decide to find a tool that, according to its creators, can display the contents of the DCK file and many other types of files (All in One Viewer).
Of course, there are such tools. However, it should be remembered that they may display the data contained in the DCK file differently than the application dedicated to handling the DCK file extension. When you cannot afford to have the data of the DCK file displayed different from the original, you should use the applications developed to work with the DCK file.
Below you will find a list of software programs that will help you with this. These software programs will help you view the content of the DCK file, minimizing possible errors that may arise with other tools.
